Master of Science in Nursing Leadership

The Master of Science in Nursing Leadership is designed to prepare nurses for roles in executive and advanced healthcare leadership. It provides administrative and management theory and skills in order to address organizational issues within complex healthcare systems and community-based agencies. Students have the opportunity to complete clinical experiences with nurse leaders developing expertise in financial management, strategic planning and navigating a range of issues encountered in healthcare organizations.

The program is offered in a blended fashion alternating on-ground classes one day every first and third week of the month with additional instruction occurring in an online format using asynchronous or synchronous approaches. Classes are scheduled so students take no more than two courses at a time and can complete the 31-credit program in 24 months. A 25% tuition discount will be applied on all MSN courses.

The 31-credit hour curriculum consists of ten courses (312 clinical practicum/residency hours).
