In addition to her faculty responsibilities, Dr. DiLeo is the Coordinator of the UIW Nursing Cardinal Wellness Center (NCWC). The NCWC is a nurse-managed clinic that offers Texas Health Steps well child checkups through Texas Medicaid and vaccines under the Vaccines for Children programs. The NCWC focus is on preventative health for low-income children covered under Medicaid. In addition to child vaccinations, the NCWC also provides adult vaccinations to uninsured adults through the Adult Safety Net vaccination program as well as well women services under the Healthy Texas Women.

Dr. DiLeo is an Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) with over 12 years of faculty experience and currently teaches in the BSN to DNP Program/Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) concentration. Prior to coming to UIW she was the Director of the Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
