The purpose of the Athletic Training Society at the University of the Incarnate Word is to provide opportunities for students interested in the fields of athletic training and sports medicine by fostering a sense of community, participating in professional development, enhancing the experience of the Athletic Training program, and promoting the Athletic Training profession.

Human Performance and Sport Management Organization
We are an organization committed to the health and wellness of the UIW population and the San Antonio communities. The purposes of this organization are to provide all students majoring in Community Health Education, Kinesiology, Nutrition, Sport Management and any other majors who are interested in health promotion. The organization provides many opportunities for networking, event planning, team bonding, volunteering and fundraising activities. Some events include Semi-Annual Unified in Wellness 5K on campus, health and wellness fairs across the city and volunteering with organizations such as Boysville.
