He returned to UIW because "It was a goal of mine to come teach and give back to our future nursing leaders, which was what Incarnate Word bestowed on me."

Mr. Pedraza joined the Ila Faye Miller School of Nursing and Health Professions in August 2016, after serving as a clinical teaching assistant with the clinical learning center. He coordinates and teaches the advanced Medical-Surgical course in the undergraduate program, both didactic and clinical supervision.
