What is Public Health?
University of the Incarnate Word public health students focus on the preventative methods of increasing the health and wellness of diverse populations and individuals. Students are challenged and encourage to develop thoughtful and innovative health programs, identify and communicate effective and accurate information of health, and to enhance program offerings in manner that will decrease health disparities within a population.
