Master of Science in Nursing Leadership
The Master of Science in Nursing Leadership is designed to prepare nurses for roles in executive and advanced healthcare leadership. It provides administrative and management theory and skills in order to address organizational issues within complex healthcare systems and community-based agencies. Students have the opportunity to complete clinical experiences with nurse leaders developing expertise in financial management, strategic planning and navigating a range of issues encountered in healthcare organizations.
The program is now offered online. Classes are scheduled so students take no more than two courses at a time and can complete the graduate program in 24 months.
The 31-credit hour curriculum consists of 10 courses (320 clinical practicum/residency hours).
